Why do men not notice body language as much as women do?

1. they probably don't put much thought into things like girls would do
2. We tend to focus more on the body . . . as a whole. :D
3. men do notice womens body language. bottom line it is all about her mannerisms. which is her boby language. it is her body language 9mannerisms) that makes her so appealing.
4. Men don't notice a LOT of things women do! Men are more basic, uncomplicated creatures while women are very, very complicated and always analyzing and judging. Men are like dogs, friendly, accepting, easy to read while women are more like cats, sneaky, sly and independent.
5. Men don't tend to be observant about most things. They just don't tend to be detail-oriented. Have you ever noticed if you tell a man something they are looking for is in the pantry, they take one look and don't see it. Then you go to the pantry, move one can out of the way, & there is the item they were looking for? If something is not right in front of their nose, they just don't see it. I think it's the same with body language.
6. Some of us do, that's the secret behind Gaydar. I can't speak for all men but I do notice it. For instance, when a woman is interested, she will hold a glance a few seconds longer than normal for a stranger. Then she touches her face and often plays with her hair. The real clincher is, when she sucks in her tummy and thrusts out her boobs. Then I ignore her because I'm gay and cruising for other gay guys. It is a real boost to the ego though.
7. Simple . . . Men are from Mars, women are from Venus.
8. Because men aren't taught to communicate using gestures. They require more obvious forms of communication.
9. Well you probably wouldn't know because you're not a man. Also, everyone is different.
10. I was first trained to observe body language for military duties, again in college degree in law enforcement, and yet again for employment in the field of corrections. My first use was to 'read' a Cherry as lethal and level Model 24 Savage pump-action at his middle chest. As Deputy Sheriff, first arrest followed 'read' of suspicious Oceanic National in USPS facility, halting public urination. Another time I 'read' enough about a convicted felon to do a cavity search and extracted six inch steel shank from the rectum. These employment areas tend to have more males trained in body language than females but goodness knows there are more women than men who overlook this qualification. Prisons are full of folk who never thought they would go there. Hospitals for the criminally insane, by the way, are for cost reasons housing female and male felons; I've had practice with both. These are not felons being medicated because they sing too loud in church. I particularily liked to express my own language somewhat harder than any recieved. Big Bird and the muppets were more fun to watch.
