What are the characteristics of non-verbal communication?

1. Facial expressions and/or body movement indicating what the person means. Like frowning if the person doesn't approve.

6. body language, movements of the body are universally known to all people example when there is no verbal language spoken and someone is scared you can still see they are scared by there facial expressions
7. eye contact, and some sort of motion. i can have whole conversation without talking. you'll have to hear it sometime...haha irony as for the deaf and mute ... i say sign language!
