  1. u cant
  2. You could take classes for this, as I did, during my doctoral program in psychology. Otherwise, there's nothing that I know of because the entire field of kinesiology is quite involved. Which is to say, any books or magazine articles out there would be incredibly superficial and useless. Certainly not to the point of allowing you to detect lies! And no, high school psychology classes don't even come close to dealing with this field in any meaningful way. You are better to leave it alone.
  3. I don't know but some good way I can tell how people are feeling or if they are not telling the truth is to listen to their voice tone and see if it changes or nervious movements like covering their mouth with their hands or not looking you in the eye and stuff like that.
  4. Watch the person for a while and see how they look and act when they are saying things that you know are true. Then after you see how they are, you can tell when they are lying because people usually act different when they are trying to hide something or have you believe a lie.
  5. I usually go by body language and people give off vibes...but i'm generally not a good judge of character...
  6. Yes, there is an expert, Doctor Paul Eckman, who discusses micro emotions we give off without wanting to. He has writen many books on the subject and has done research for both police and the military. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGQf9O61cww http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Eckman http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/103-8244879-9531802?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=paul+eckman
  7. a good book on body language will be helpful.
  8. you can observe people more intently and perhaps if you know that person well enough, you'll know whether he's telling lies.
