- cover your nose???
- if you cover your nose you are communicating that the other person stinks.
- If somebody smells good, you'll smile at them or pay more attention when they talk to you. If they smell bad, you'll ignore them or try to get away as soon as possible. Is that what you mean?
- Do a bit of research on pheromones in lobsters, deer, etc. and you will find that these "smells" travel miles, and radically affect the behaviour of the opposite sex -- AND of the same sex ( competition and aggression ). The SAME thing is in humans, although not studied very well ( religious people block the idea, since we are not " animals", but god images etc. ). We react like crazy to these hidden smells, and the billion dollar market for perfumes is just a teeny sample of the effect - the REAL pheromones would go directly to the persons brain - whether they like it or not, and would produce powerful behavioural changes - the olfactory nerves are the CLOSEST to the brain for a reason ( pure animal, not godly )... Research this area... if you could find a real human pheromone, it would be worth billions !
