give me an example of verbal and non verbal communication?

1. Verbal is clear words. Non verbal is mumbling, hand waving or signing, eye contact. But this is from my experience with severely handicaped students. I am not sure this goes for the average person.
2. Vocal and body language.
3. Verbal - talking Nonverbal - using body language, using your eyes, etc. to communicate
4. If I shout at you using words, that is verbal. If I glare at you, stamp my feet and slam out the door, you get much the same message, but it is non-verbal
5. Verbal..'I'm not very happy because....' Non verbal....Lying on the floor and kicking everyone who walks by.
